O Mundial de Clubes da Fifa conheceu nesta sexta-feira (4) o seu primeiro classificado à semifinal. O Fluminense eliminou o Al-Hilal e está entre os quatro melhores da competição.
A classificação veio com a vitória por 2 a 1, no Camping World Stadium, em Orlando, gols de Martinelli e Hércules — Marcos Leonardo marcou para os sauditas.
O duelo entre Palmeiras e Chelsea definirá o adversário do Fluminense na semifinal do Mundial. Na outra chave das quartas de final, PSG x Bayern de Munique e Borussia Dortmund x Real Madrid definirão os dois outros semifinalistas.
